So I have a regret.
After all the hype about the Burberry Lip Glow products, I cracked and decided to buy a lipgloss. I was so excited to try this that I immediately went to my car to apply it.
I was hoping for the smooth texture, fantastic smell, and a color payoff that was unmatched. I was desperately disappointed with I did not get any of those things out of this lipgloss.
I got a dry doe foot applicator. I terrible, plastic smell. It smelled like the makeup I used to play with as a kid. And as far as the color payoff goes, it was uneven, and just plain terrible. It was more work than I was wanting out of a lipgloss.
The one good thing about this: the packaging.
I could not complain about the packaging. The box was a thick, almost cardboard like material. The lipgloss itself, was packaged in heavy plastic, that almost felt like glass. It was heavy and the top had the Burberry classic check print pattern on it. But, $32 for a lipgloss, it better have better things about it than just the packaging.
Have you tried any of the Burberry make up products?

Thoughtful Thursday
Recently I heard this quote from Joel Osteen.
"Don't stay where you are tolerated. Go where you are celebrated."
This quote hits home with me so much right now. I feel like the past year and a half I have merely stayed where I'm tolerated. I have constantly been trying to change this, but I know everything happens for a reason and when the time is right, something will change for the better.
Hope and faith are funny things to rely on since they aren't tangible, material things. But, without these two, I would feel even more lost.

Ins & Outs
I thought this would be a fun post aside from my reviews. What are my Ins and Outs of the summer so far?
In:
- A sun-kissed glow from being at the pool. Does a tan need an explanation as to why it's in a IN? ;)
- Working Out. There is is nothing like getting fit and eating healthy in the summer.
- Minimal makeup on a hot summer day.
- Home Decor. Recently, I have been loving home decor. Maybe it's due to the fact that I cannot wait to have my own home!
Out:
- The rain we have had the past 3 days... give me my sun back!
- Having to shave every day. I'll admit, I love smooth legs, but shaving every day is a pain, not to mention drying on your skin!
- Still having to work even though it's summer. The one thing I took for granted are my free summers in between school

My Love Affair
...with a skincare product
I am absolutely in LOVE with my Clarisonic Mia. I got it last year for Christmas and I can't believe I haven't written a blog post about it. This tool is amazing. It lives in my shower, and I religiously use it every morning.
The first time I used the Clarisonic, I noticed dramatically how much softer my skin felt. Now, even though I still have a few trouble areas, my skin is softer, and brighter looking. My makeup applies evenly, and I don't need find dry areas around my nose and mouth area anymore.
If you are questioning purchasing this product, don't! Go buy it! It is totally worth the investment! I am looking to purchase the big Clarisonic to keep in the shower, and move my Mia to the sink.

Bronze Goddess
There is nothing like the smell of summer, in my opinion. The warm sun, sand, salty ocean air, with suntan lotion, coconuts, and papaya. Once May rolls around, I want nothing more than to smell of the warm goodness that long, hot summer days are about to bring.
Estee Lauder's Bronze Goddess perfume comes out every single summer. I had to get my hands on it this year.
This perfume is $60 for 3.5 ounces, which is not bad for a perfume that size. This literally smells like summer in a bottle. I can't get enough of it. After a long hot day at the pool, being freshly showered, and after applying my papaya Hawaiian Tropic After-Sun lotion, this smells divine layered over top.
If you're looking for a cheaper version, the Victoria's Secret PINK body spray in Sunkissed smells almost identical and the 1.5 oz is only around $8.

Ring Holders
Recently I have fallen in love with ring holders. The ones I love the most are discreet in their function, like this umbrella ring holder from Anthropologie, $8.
The way this holds my every day jewelry makes me so happy in the morning. The turquoise hand painted strokes, and the silver polka dots, just reek of cuteness. This little holder brightens my rainiest days. My second favorite ring holder is my Eiffel Tower and Big Ben ring holders from Anthropologie, $12. I plan to collect all four, adding the Empire State Building and the San Francisco Bay Bridge to my collection. Being a fan of wanderlust myself, these ring holders inspire me to get away and travel. See the world apart from my every day life and routine. Since these have a larger dish as a base, I collect my watches and longer chain link necklaces, and bracelets.
The next ring holder I would like to add to my collection is a silver giraffe from Urban Outfitters.
What are your favorite eclectic things to collect?
